PHIT's Year Ahead 2012 is what we're calling our big presentation this year. In the past this was known as "The State of PHIT" but we decided that sounded way to self-important and/or political so we're being a little more realistic. Come on out for one of the dates we'll be doing this presentation and hear what the theater has planned for 2012, where we need help, and how you can get involved.
When is it? This year we'll be doing PHIT's Year Ahead three times:
- Monday, February 27, 2012 @ 7:00 p.m., 60 minute presentation followed by Q&A. Snacks will be served.
- Saturday, March 3, 2012 @ noon, 60 minute presentation followed by Q&A. Snacks will be served.
- Saturday, March 3, 2012 @ 4:00 p.m., 60 minutes presentation followed by Q&A. Pizza will be served. This meeting is for PHIT House Team members and hosts of PHIT shows only.
Where is it? Philly Improv Theater @ The Shubin Theater (407 Bainbridge Street)
What's the Agenda? A presentation on PHIT's growth during 2011, info on some new incentives we're introducing for performers and audience members this year, explanation of our new Intern program, updates on expansion of the PHIT Training Center, and more. PLUS: The opportunity to have questions, comments and concerns addressed.
Who should come? Performers at PHIT need to attend if at all possible. If you've been on stage for an improv, sketch, stand-up, variety or other type of show at PHIT during the past several years we want you to hear what we're working on and get your feedback. People who hope to perform in 2012 should also come. Volunteers and potential volunteers can show up. Students in PHIT's improv education program don't need to worry about being there, but are invited if they're interested.
The meeting should actually be fairly relaxed, but because we're doing food/drink and because we'll have some things to hand out we do need people to rsvp. SO, IF YOU'D LIKE TO COME - PLEASE RSVP by contacting the theater. You can send us an email or leave a message on the phone (both of these are available on PHIT's contact info page). We'll also be sending an evite to performers who have given us an email address... so expect to be pestered about attending sometime in the next few weeks.
